The soccer jersey is basically a thin, breathable and light top worn while playing soccer. They are worn to identify team members and to differentiate the two teams playing.

There are two types of soccer jersey.

Some goalkeepers prefer to use short sleeved jerseys though and they are allowed to do so if they so prefer.

The other type of soccer jersey are the ones worn by the outfield soccer players. The jerseys front normally have the team emblem and the sponsor’s logos while the player’s number and name are at the back of the jersey.
